Piercing

Our Piercing Staff

RYAN

After years of enthusiastic self-education I began piercing professionally over three years ago in Frankfort, KY. My goal was to provide my clients with only the highest quality body piercing/modification available and after a traditional apprenticeship I turned my attention to perfecting the gentle freehand technique with an entirely sterile set-up (the method currently employed at Acme). Once I became proficient with this method, I began working with more intricate procedures and outgrew my original circumstances. I was happy to take a position as the token Christian piercer at Acme among some of the greatest atheists in the nation at the most prestigious shop in Kentucky.

I cannot express how much I love what I do. I am in a constant state of learning and think that the piercer who believes that they know everything they need to know about this art should hang up their mask and get out. After piercing for over three years and adding an eclectic assortment of piercing, scarification, dermal punches, and suspension scars to my personal collection, I believe that body modification is an extremely positive experience for everyone involved and my goal at Acme is to help every client enjoy the process as much as I do.

ZACHARY KERR

I have been piercing professionally for the last eight years throughout Dallas, Austin, Southern Indiana and Louisville. I was trained in multiple piercing techniques by some of Texas’ most renowned piercers and scarification artists and I try to continue my quest for knowledge within this industry whenever possible.

I focus on making Acme the most pleasant and advanced piercing experience within the Louisville area. The use of on-site sterilization (per customer/per piercing) via the Statim 5000, complete freehand technique, the highest quality internally threaded stainless and titanium jewelry and the greatest knowledge of advanced piercing technology offers just a taste of what makes Acme different from all the rest.

NEAL MORRIS - Piercing Apprentice

Originally from Buffalo, New York, I have made Louisville my home for seven years. For over on year I have been apprenticing to Zachary Kerr. I have knowledge of basic freehand technique and the most up-to-date sterility standards. Custom-made organic jewelry is also a trade I will be pursuing in the future.
